Chakravarthi - Raag Nat Bhairav Prakash Kumar Chakravarthi Part 2

Chakravarthi is one of the Bangalore's noted flutists. Ever since he came to Bangalore (ie in 1990), he has performed in various places like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Varanasi and many places of Karnataka. He is a graded artist in Akashavani (AIR - All India Radio) and performs regularly on AIR. He learnt flute from Pt. DB Harindra. After his graduation in Commerce, he moved to Bangalore. He learnt the intricacies of Hindustan Music from a noted sarod artis Pt. Rajiv Taranath. Though he does't identify himself with any school of Hindustani music, his style resembles instrumental style (Alap, Jod, Jala Ghat; other style being vocal) of Agra Gharana. Sri Chakravarthi is not only a musician but also a very good artist. He has done a number of paintings both with water and oil medium.
