Five songs/melodies played on the Fujara, a bass overtone fipple flute from central Slovakia. The Fujara is a unique Slovak musical instrument whice has no parallel in the European traditional instruments set. It is a large (usually 180-200 centimeters long) wooden flute with three finger holes and an auxiliary acoustic tube supplemented to its upper part. It is made of elderberry wood and is usually decorated by characteristic ornaments whice are carved as a shallow relief and burnt. *See tracklist and details below:
